ANY residential toaster oven will work. That Cuisinart they sell for ~$100 at Costco is supposed to be pretty good.

Did you rent an apartment without an oven?

Read the thread. I am considering a somewhat similar situation to studio living that has no oven.

I'm poor.

The only dealbreaker about this whole situation is that there is no fucking parking anywhere and I might have my car... so, paying for parking every month is going to not really be worth it to me.

Also, if it plugs into a regular wall outlet, it won't blow the CB by itself. 20 amp appliances have a 20 amp plug, and will only plug into a 20 amp receptacle.

Well, I could still trip the circuit breaker with multiple devices. I don't know how the circuit breaker is wired though for the rooms. The guy said it's kinda complex in that some circuits are connected to other rooms. So, if I use just under the limit in my room and then some guy flips on his light in his room then circuit breaker might be tripped.

IF I live at this place, I am definitely figuring out the electrical layout of the room and which breaker is connected to which outlets, etc.

Sell the car to pay for a place that has a frickin oven.

:hmm: I would do this except I like my car. Also, the money I get from the car (Maybe $3500?) would only pay $100 month for 3 years at most. :| I'd lose my precious, forever!

I can make cornbread. :awe: I used to be able to make some nice biscuits, but somehow I lost that talent. :hmm: I probably need a full sized oven for both of those though. Shit.

I can do oatmeal and rice for life! ^_^ Maybe a muffin and a granola bar here and there...

You could do those in a small oven. You may have to make it a bit smaller though. I have one of these and use it over my full-size oven unless it can't fit.

Get a perfectly insulated box, then run a nightlight bulb in there. :D

 The bulb will die out before it cooks anything because it isn't made to take those kind of temperatures in the atmosphere it is in. (Air will expand and put pressure on the bulb AND be extremely hot)
