not sure if anyone is interested, but i thought it was neat so i will pass along the information.

you know the "clicky" feeling you get on the dpad for the xbox one? well it's a sticker that is placed over the pcb on the dpad area, and there are these silver squares that pop up a little bit on the pads where the dpad presses to the pcb. the clicking you feel is the popped up part being pressed down then popping back up when you release.

i took apart a controller last thursday and while i initially thought $60 for this gen controllers was ridiculous, i can see why they are charging that much. the controllers are simply a lot more complex on the inside than the 360 ones are. the controller is actually made up of 2 pcb's this time and not just 1 big one.
 
They can't do that because of patents.

I didn't mean to literally take the DS4's dpad. They did improve the dpad for the XBO so all I meant is that the 360 controller with what they came up with for the XBO controller would have been already great (double points if it's not so clicky).
