That looks like a Miata to me, and it looks like you stopped past the line. If you were pulling out after stopping then your foot probably wouldn't have been on the brake. Anyway, pay it and move on is my advice.

Never seen anyone get a ticket for stopping a little over the line.

Tough to do with a manual transmission. Right foot can be on the brake or the accelerator but not both (unless it's a VW bug from the 60's)
Before synchronized transmissions you had to toe the brake and heel the gas to match the engine speed to the transmission speed for smooth shifting.

OP, think outside the box man. Use your phone and record your monitor while it's playing the video from the website.

Take video and upload it to a hosting site or something.

Boom, video now shared with the world.

Re-looking at the video, I sorta did a california roll, but I did stop before taking off, even though it wasn't a full stop, I clearly did get into 1st gear and took off. But I still believe the video is sped up. I know my driving style, I always come to a stop, first gear and then take off.

Further more, frame 31, on normal TCR .. it normally runs 29.97 seconds to a frame (if you are keeping NTSC standard).. so that point frame 31 is bogus unless they are running 60fps.... see what i mean?

It is impossible to come to a Stop, but not a full Stop.

Either you Stopped or You Did Not Stop.

Pick one.

ive never seen stopsign cameras before. wish my town put one up at my corner, after i put up my security cameras i was shocked to see how many of my neighbors who blow through the 4 way. the first month of fines would be enough to pay for the system.

Had my Altima getting warranty service at Gardena Nissan. Got a red light ticket in the mail for not stopping before limit line before a right turn thanks to one of their techs.

Their service department was great at taking care of transferring the ticket to the tech, but also said that they see the ticket all the time for that 1 intersection.

You may be screwed, but if you choose not to pay, nothing's going to happen until they send a collection agency after you.

Sounds like you just admitted to doing what you got ticketed for.

Look, I drive like that, too. EVERYBODY does. And people who don't probably shouldn't be on the road (hint: go to the doctor and find out why your balls didn't drop, people), but if you get caught, you get caught.

/soapbox
I don't "california roll" (i.e, not stop), and can't stand it when people do. It's a stop sign, not a slow down and then blow through it sign. I hate the idiots who do that, especially when others have stopped at the sign like they are supposed to.

Goes hand in hand with people who stop 10 feet ahead of the white line behind the stop sign. You're supposed to stop behind the stop sign at the line, not 10 feet in front if it in the intersection.

Hey! you choose to live in Kalorfinication, deal with what your state has deteriorated to, a land of loony liberals and disappearing freedoms and rights.
