Is it just me, or does Amdforever2 seem to have an unhealthy obsession for raping and killing?

I think that he's been watching too many Death Wish movies.

He is probably one of those survivalist types of guys who has a bomb/fallout shelter buried under his house, 10,000 rounds of 223, and a years worth of canned goods and #10 cans.

Contagion is not an action movie, its a movie for thought. During the movies production, experts were called in to give advice on what might happen if something like the bird flu mutated.

If your going to see Contagion in the hopes of seeing all kinds of violence, your going to be disappointed.

After watching Contagion, you should ask yourself if you learned anything.

One of the biggest problems with our society is our over-reliance on vaccines. Instead of letting people catch harmless diseases and develop a healthy immune system, we pump children and adults full of vaccines.

In some cases vaccines are needed, such as hepatitis, or the flu in children and the elderly. But chicken pox? Come on.

If a new virus breaks out, we could be looking at years, maybe even decades before big pharma develops a vaccine (HIV for example).

we watch movies to be entertained.

"You" watch movies to be entertained, that does not "everyone" does.

When given the choice to watch something entertaining, or educational, I will pick the educational program. My favorites list on dishnetwork is discovery channel, learning channel, green channel,,,, and so on.

My wife and I go to the movies from time to time, and we like to watch entertaining movies.

do you honestly not know the difference between fiction and nonfiction? seek help, you friggin' schizo.

I thought it was pretty good. Very suspenseful. There were several stories within the whole story. It is a solid 3 out of 4 stars.

Guaranteed, without even seeing it, it isn't nearly as boring as The American or The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The American was horrible.

At first I was disappointed to hear this review but then I realized the op a might be an idiot so we'll have to wait and see 😀

I noticed that, too, so I think that the answer to your question is you both do; it's not just you, but also him.

Thank you Amd for your post,

I registered to this forum just to make a reply.

Amd really summed up how pathetic, stupid and boring this waste of time movie was to my life.

I have seen bad movies in my life time but calling this even a flaming dog poo is an insult to dog poo.

It more boring then watching grass grow, to the people who think this movie really gave thought I say shut up.

I came to be entertained and for a movie to show me action in a world turned upside down by a plague that breaks down social order. Where people need to kill for the last pop tart on the selves in the grocery store.

Where there is rape and murder because people become animals, where Matt daemon pulls a freaking borne identity on some soldier to save his daughter or kill some thug with his bare hands.

What did I get, I got this boring suspenseful movie that really did not live up to anything, only scenes that looked like they were going somewhere but didnt, like Amd the thus just take pop tarts, the chinese just let the scientist go and no one kills anyone.

What a piece of shit, If I die and go to hell , I imagine been forced to watch this over and over where I scream to be on the torture machine instead.

It looked pretty boring in the preview honestly. I can't remember anything going on besides some one looking at a computer screen and Gwynth Paltrow gagging on a gurney. I figured that if those were the most exciting things in the movie it was going to be dull. Since the upside of the movie would have been "depressing" I wasn't particularly interested.

How about that movie Blindness with the main character that essentially has super powers but is to much of a goody gumdrops pussy moron to use them to prevent herself or others from being victimized?

I do things either to make money or be entertained. There is no category besides those in my life. If I'm watching something on discovery, learning, etc. it's because I find the subject matter entertaining. All the knowledge that's in my head (that stayed there at least) was procured by engaging in something entertaining or something that was making me money. I would hazard the guess that when you sit down in front of your television and click on the discovery channel, you aren't thinking "time to expand my mind and educate myself". No, you're thinking something like "ooh crustaceans are neato".

The worst part of this movie is the movie title itself- now it's being used in everyday conversation. If I hear Steve Liesman of CNBC use the word one more time, I'm going to reach through the TV set and bitch-slap him.
