I hate vinyl. Too many memories of having to save up pocket money to buy an LP (like saving for a month to buy one) and then playing it once, carefully putting it away in its sleeve, and then the next time I play it it's "pop, crackle, skip". Those things self-destructed with the slightest pretext, no matter how careful you tried to be with them. You vinyl guys just kill me. It's like you don't hear surface noise that is impossible to eliminate unless you made an optical grove reader, and there would still be distortions. I mean I get why people like the sound of old tube amps with there built in distortion (harmonics). Guess why they made fuzz foot pedals.
Poor mastering of albums to CD caused most of the problems that people claim to hear.
