The fix was in and I found it odd how billionaires hedged their bets and didn't endorse on their papers.

They would have known before us what was happening and wanted to be on Trump's good side. At first I thought that's quite odd they want to appear neutral but people with that much money aren't stupid.

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more paranoia about electoral shennanigans. Invoking "starlink" seems a bit gratuitous, just dragging it in because it's been in the news and involves Elon Musk in the scam, even though it makes no sense (why would votes have to be 'uploaded' to it in order to change them?).
Did occur to me that the Republicans last time spent _so_ much time dreaming up vote-fixing scenarios that if anyone could have worked out a means of doing it it would be them.

Considering blue sky is decentralized it doesn't have to adhere to American rules or any rules. It's not like it's run out of a server in California like twitter is.

I may be wrong here but I think Republicans know Trump is only there for 4 more years.. unless they really change things and markets/ billionaires who donate to them may want some changes but not major changes.

I believe DeWine appoints replacement and then special election in '26 with winner serving out until the term ends in '28. Then full seat open for regular 6yr term.
