I read the whole thread. Comments on yours' and conspiracies of my own follow.
The Matrix isn't how the hypothesis I prefer works. We are not humans at all. We are just data. The universe is vibrating energy. Cosmic background radiation has nothing to do with a big bang, it's the end of our programming environment. To further support my outlandish claim: The recently discovered galaxies are a potential monkey wrench for the big bang -

“Everything in Life is Vibration” – Albert Einstein.
Some big brains assert it's at worst a coin flip as to whether or not this is a simulation. There it is, my conspiracy theory, we are just data. Art imitating life.
The best counter I've read to the side of the debate which posits big conspiracy theories require too many people to stay silent for them to work, is as follows. First point is; compartmentalization of information. Only a small group of dedicated key players need to know what is happening. Everyone else is just doing their jobs with no idea they are even participating in it. The other point is that you'll R.I.P. if you do know and decide not to stay quite. Suicide in a field by your house with 2 in the back of the head (look it up) Killed in a traffic accident. Widow maker heart attack. Victim of violent crime. Fatal house fire, etc. They might show you video during onboarding of what happened to others that tried to rat. And not just how they 86'd them, but their families too.
The other counter, is how many have turned out to be factual. During Prohibition, the government poisoned alcohol to keep people from drinking. As many as 10K died from it. Who would have believed any of the following were real before being confirmed factual? MK-Ultra. The Gulf of Tonkin. Those crazy Canuckle heads trying to develop gaydar. 🤣 COINTELPRO. Operation Mocking bird or Northwoods. Tuskegee syphilis experiment.
The moon landing stuff is right there with flat earth. So easily debunked as to not be worthy of further consideration. Hell, even Nvidia debunked a major moon landing hoax claim of "evidence".

ROFLWAFFLES! good stuff.
Disclaimer: I don't subscribe to any CTs. There are a few I would not go as far as to dismiss though either. Which brings me to my second favorite: Hitler made it to Argentina and lived out his days there. The lack of any hard evidence of his death. How extensive Nazi involvement was in Argentina. There's a good bit of meat on the bones to pick at. All of which lends itself to theory of his having executed a well designed escape plan instead of himself.
