I want to lose some wait as stated in a previous failure post, haha.

I've recently realized I like rice.

Can some of you guys help me get a routine (ie: what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc).

Seems like a good idea.

Really don't wanna get too complicated.

Just want a simple routine to stick to. I read the rice is a good way to lose weight quickly.

If you don't monitor your calories, you're very likely to fail. It's not at all complicated, especially with sites like thedailyplate.com and fitday.com. If anything, it's actually much simpler, as you can eat whatever you want so long as you're still in caloric deficit.

Oh, and there aren't any special "weight loss" foods. You can eat 100% rice, but so long as you don't have a caloric deficit, you won't drop an ounce.

Dieting is calories is versus calories out when paying attention to macros. I tried the "rice diet" and ended up loosing nothing and making myself sick. If you want to actually lose weight, like *actually* want too no bullshit than its easy enough, but subscribing to fat diets will get you no where. I can show you a ton of people who lost 20-250 pounds just changing stuff up a bit, not one of them was on some sort of fad diet.

Calories out > Calories in, its pretty simple.

lean meat + rice + vegetables is a pretty basic template for making a healthy meal. make half your plate vegetables, and split the other half between the lean meat and rice. and flavor it with herbs/spices moreso than sauces(sauces are fine, just dont drench your food in them).
