I know logic is pointless, but I think most of American coal country are in 'Yankee' states, e.g. Pennsylvania & West Virginia.
 
Assholes like this is why my late model diesel gets 13mpg now instead of 22mpg on my old 1999. Feds just keep stacking regs on top of regs to curtail particulates. This crowd reminds me of open carry.

Oh yeah and pipes in back of truck. Right there just says grocery getter instead of real work truck since you lose a lot of space and are afraid to ruin pipes you dont carry anything. I use my truck. Own construction company and still do work believe or not in this economy. Otherwise I'd have a prius 24/7 for 60mpg. These guys are not just asses they are stupid too.

I had an asshole in a large diesel pickup try and do this to me recently. He was driving about 15mph in a 25 zone, so I followed him for a while before I gave him a honk for driving so slowly. His response, to floor it and spew a bunch of soot in the air.
Ha ha, I had already closed my windows and vents because I was behind a (pos) diesel.

What is it with these crackers? Someone wrote recently that they want another civil war, I'm tending to believe it with some of the nonsense these crackers are doing.
I say bring it on, we can finish the job this time.

I drive a diesel, too (several). Making it blow black smoke is easy, if you just fuck up the adjustment on your injection pump (which was made by German socialists at Bosch, BTW). A clean-running diesel is a sign of an excellent mechanic. Black smoke is a sign of a lazy slob who doesn't give a shit.

Vocativ noted many coal rollers focus their fumes on "nature nuffies," or people who drive hybrids, and "rice burners," or Japanese-made cars.
How ironic that some of the "Japanese" cars have more domestic content than a Ford or Chevy.

If they really feel so strongly about their stance, they should all gather up in a hermetically sealed warehouse, get all the news agencies they can muster to broadcast their sentiments and keep floorboarding their maladjusted diesels until they intimately see and feel what they're actually advocating on a grander scale.

I mean, if they're that passionate and energetic to begin with, this idea that I've proferred should sound like a really cool idea to them seeing as if what they're truly attempting to communicate to the nation is that their exhaust emissions have no effect on the health of the population, amirite?

Bosch makes Diesel Injectors and pumps right here in the USA using American Labor.

In this case? Yes. Compensating by buying a large truck then making it louder and tuned wrong is almost exclusively a white trash thing. I would guess at least 80% of these people hang out with their cousins on a regular basis.

People in Oklahoma have been doing this year, really annoys me. Might as well just get a bumper sticker that says "I am dumb white trash."

Makes me wish Oklahoma would bring back vehicle inspections.

As a Conservative, I have to agree that this is STUPID. I'd much rather spend the time and energy to make my truck as clean burning as possible to prove that it can be done and that driving a truck can be done responsibly.

As far as freedoms go, I think the same thing of the Liberals being forced to temporarily live in some of the same places above so they discover how wonderful a place the US is for them to be able to disagree and speak out and protest in the first place, as opposed to being killed for having a different view. 😉

As to pollution, as a Christian, I believe we are to be good stewards of the resources and environment we have been given as we will be called to account for our actions. What I will not do as a Christian is put the created (the Earth) above my Creator(God). So while "saving the planet" is a cute notion, "saving the lost" trumps it.
