On Rush Limbaugh yesterday he was saying the liberals hope to outlaw the use of automobiles by regular citizens altogether, so I say kudos to those protesting.

Why don't you give them those kudos by standing behind those trucks and breathing those fumes you like so much?

What? It was Republicans who lowered taxes on the middle class, It's Dear Leader who wants the basic necessities of life to skyrocket. Electricity, heating oil.

Not even mentioning the family busting Obamacare taxes the middle class is going to pay for.

Your buddies goal is a 3rd world America.

He was raised, educated, mentored by communists. You don't think some of that has worn off?

You're deluded.

Wow, I had no idea about any of this. I have to go call my friend who's going to Harvard right now and let him know he's being brainwashed by a bunch of communists!

"Coal Rollers" are diesel trucks modified with chimneys and equipment that can force extra fuel into the engine causing dark black smoke to pour out of the chimney stacks.

Protest away morans, you're still paying for the fuel. Who wants to explain supply and demand to these people?

This is the right wing equivalent of the dude that shit on a police car during Occupy Wall Street. Just because their boogeymen are 'liberals in a Prius' doesn't make them better or worse than people complaining about the Koch brothers. In a free society you're going to have to put up with a certain amount of assholes, some of whom conflate their political views with their nasty behavior. But somehow those on the left find themselves amazed at the nature of the people they bend over backwards to give government assistance to.

What are you arguing here? Did you not see the stickers on the car that says Prius Repellant? Or do you just believe they hate small cars?

Btw, no one is arguing that this is ALL done because people hate Obama and the environmentalists. I'm sure there is a subset of the stupid that are even stupider and think this is cool.

And btw you must have missed this portion of the article.

Are you really that clueless? Did you miss the title of the article? So everyone that does this is Conservative? The title and the wording in the story don't even attempt to make the reader believe that the people doing this are doing it for any other reason. There is also no attempt by the writers to indicate that all the people doing this aren't such and such. The whole article is written in an attempt to make the case that all the people doing this are dumb conservatives who hate the environment and/or Obama. Look at the quote that you even outlined. Does it say some, few, not many, not all but some? No, it simply says "pickup drivers". Get a clue.

Why don't you actually read the story with some objectivity instead of repeatably telling me that I didn't or missed something. I saw everything fine the first time I read it. I was able to even see the bullshit the writers were trying to pass of as journalism as well.

You mean like ex-Nazi George Soros. How about Democrat hero Robert Byrd? A Grand Keagle in the Ku Kux Klan. A real Democrat hero. Not to mention the holier than thou segragationists in our time, George Wallace, Al Gore Sr, Bull Connors, all democrats. And the 1%ers? Most of them are liberals. You'd be hard pressed to find 20 1% ers that aren't liberals.

To each...from each. As long as its not from me, says Harry Reid.

So you can obviously mouth out the words, it seems like you just have a hard time understanding them.

Let me help you decipher.

These modifications are not new, but as Slate's Dave Weigel pointed out on Thursday, "rolling coal" has begun to take on a political dimension with pickup drivers increasingly viewing their smokestacks as a form of protest against environmentalists and Obama administration emissions regulations
Let's start with the first part.
These modifications are not new,
That means that these modifications didn't just start. Meaning some people have done them for other reasons before.

Let's continue
"rolling coal" has begun to take on a political dimension with pickup drivers increasingly viewing
Let's combine that with the previous statement. So, this thing that is not new, that was probably not previously done for political reasons now has begun among some people at an increasing level (or has just started and is encompassing more pickup drivers) to be done for political reasons.

Do you get it now? Do you see the proper qualifications in the article that this thing has been done for other reasons and didn't just start as a political statement? My gosh. I guess the best way to hide something from conservatives is to write it in an article.

So it's the Open Carry Texas eqivalent of pickup truck owners? Only worse, because in this case they're actively wasting their money to piss people off.

That means that these modifications didn't just start. Meaning some people have done them for other reasons before.

But today, we get a description that indicates nothing about percentages, quantities or extents. Simply a blanket statement meant to imply all.

Both bolded words you've added to advance your ignorant position. The article simply does't make statements in such ways. But you've still managed to be conned by its purposefully ambiguous message and are now claiming things not even stated within the article. Well done, sheep.

My gosh. I guess the best way to hide something obvious from liberals is to title an article exactly for what it's about. Oh wait.

You wanted the article to be sufficiently dumbed down for people who don't understand the English language yet include a title like this.

65.98% of Conservatives are purposely making their trucks spew black smoke to protest Obama and environmentalists

Lol. You're a clown.

Nope, I'd simply settle for Some Conservatives.... or more accurately, A Few Truck Owners/Drivers. Of course, there wouldn't be any substance to that article. Most of what's in this one would have to be rewritten with a title like that.

You're a tool.

For the last time if you had a handle on Reading Comprehension, you would understand the article does exactly that. It's not that hard to read that article and get that.

But let's go further. Do you believe the article wants people to believe every damn conservative in this country is making their truck spew smoke? C'mon, you can't be that utterly daft.

I'm the one with reading comprehension, yet you haven't understood a word I have typed. Try going back to my OP and reading it slowly this time. You'll be able to answer that question for yourself at that point, tool.

Making blanket statements and backing them up with anecdotal evidence and a handful of situations to make a story is pretty awful journalism. At least for someone not acting like a tool, that is.
