We actually don't know whether or not the 3 tweets I found came from conservatives or a couple liberals with a "sense of humor". So for me to "admit" the OP was accurate in any way is quite difficult....unless of course I were perhaps drunk or otherwise mentally impaired. :sneaky: And if these guys turned out to be a couple liberals or conservatives joking around...or God forbid...a couple dumbass conservatives actually being serious...what of it? People are upset about the spending deal, which is stated numerous times in the article, as well as by the radio talking heads etc. There is NOTHING in the article that says anything about anyone "attacking him for being muslim". That's plain absurd.

Yeah, the article mostly talks about conservatives being upset over the spending deal, and it is interesting that Indus picked up on this one aspect and made it his focus. However, it is right there in the article and there is no indication that Ryan was making a joke.

I have no idea how many conservatives believe this, but it's pretty clear Ryan wasn't joking when he said that some conservatives do. Here's all you have to do: post step by step directions to what you did to search Twitter comments that resulted in only 3 matches.
