Talk radio host off the air after rallying listeners to run for Senate

Dan Fagan, the conservative talk show host who lately spends much of his three-hour radio show slamming U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski and extolling the virtues of Republican Joe Miller, has been yanked off the air.

Radio's Laura Ingraham off the air

Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham is off the air — at least temporarily.
She said Tuesday that she's leaving her distributor, Talk Radio Network, after more than nine years because her contract is up.

Ingraham said she is in discussions with other distributors about her show, which currently airs on 325 stations nationally.

Talkers magazine says the conservative Ingraham is the most-listened to woman on radio, with an estimated 5.75 million listeners a week.

Talkers said that ranks her among the top eight radio hosts overall.

Misleading thread title much? The article says she left. Getting knocked off the air implies she did not go willingly - something the article does not state.

Nice job baiting people.

She is not the first one off air since the election and there will be more.

Your kind is toast.

...you realize I never heard of her name before, right? You realize that I disagree with a lot of stuff the republicans do, right? You realize the article says her contract was up as well, yes? That's not being kicked off the air. That's a contract ending and not being renewed, and we're given no reason.

What I know is you have an intentionally misleading thread title. But I should expect childish antics when going into a thread like this.

This just in, Rush Limbaugh was forced off the air when during his show a guest host appeared instead of the right wing talk king.

Laura Ingraham leaving the airwaves while she works out a new distribution deal hardly constitutes a "braggart going down". She'll likely have a better income and a wider potential audience when the deal is done.

conservatism has pretty much lost all credibility at this point. even most republicans recognize that the "stick it to the middle and lower class so the rich can have tax cuts" philospohy is a fraud thats nearly ruined this country

Now that's not right.

Cancer is horrible.

I know we all punch the clock at some point but cancer normally punches it way too soon in most cases.

You run into this alot after just getting crushed in yet another Presidential Election.

And it isn't going to stop for them. As a lifelong Republican I can tell you I will never vote for another Republican until they change their tune & actions on some very specific policies:

1) Smaller government - don't talk about it, be about it. Every Republican President has increased the federal debt by huge sums and spent more than our GDP. This policy is the great lie of their party and the main reason I began to sway from the path of the right.

2) War on Drugs - this is idiotic. See prohibition of alcohol for proof. Not everyone that uses will become a pathetic addict in need of rehab, just like not everyone who drinks a beer will become a raging, abusive alcoholic.

3) War on Terror - Ummm, there is a country called Terror? THAT IS FRIGGIN AWESOME! Do they have The Tower of Terror there, because I love that ride!

4) War on Liberty - yes, the guys who claim to want to protect your liberty are the ones who brought you such stupidity as The Patriot Act, NSA, CIA, etc etc etc etc etc....

5) War on Education - I am the reason they oppose critical thinking being taught in school. If you can see things clearly and make a logical decision based on the information laid out before you, why would you ever support a party that is so clearly against you?

6) War on Workers - Unions are not the enemy, cheapskate Uncle Scrooge business owners are...and that is who runs things here in America now. Maybe if these assholes wouldn't have cut corners at every turn then people would still buy American.

That's just several of the reasons why I left the party. I love America, I believe it gives everyone the greatest chance of making something of their lives, but the Republican party seems to hate American people for some reason.

I started voting for Democrats after realizing that Republicans have an INCESSANT war on labor and would fuck a cadaver for a dollar.
