I was pretty sure that HT would be killed with the introduction of Core but I've been hearing that Intel will enable HT in a future revision. I won't say that I'm certain of this at all but that's what I've heard...

If Intel was going to move up the release date people would definetly know about it. The professional review sites and mags would be all over the news coverage. Lets just hope when Intel does release it they'll have plenty of supply in the chain to avoid shortages. I suspect demand is going to be very strong on this new chip.
