Good times last night all! Buddha did take one picture last night, so hopefully he will post this after the hockey game ends tonight.

Locut0s I meant to discuss Cache with you some more, but I forgot. :\

Sorry for the delay on the pic...here it is:

I really enjoyed hanging with you guys (and girl). Good times.

Damn, good thing I've started working on losing those 10 or so holiday/injury pounds I put on. 😀

Sorry guys. I'm only now getting caught up from being gone. My uncle didn't have internet so I was out of communication from the morning of the 19th until a couple days ago.

My sister agreed to go, but my cousin ended up taking us out Friday night until 1:30 AM. This would have been ok if the three of us didn't have to be up at 5:30 AM to get to Cypress. By the time we got back from Cypress, we were all quite exhausted and all crashed for a three hour nap. I would have let you guys know but again, no internet.

I did love your city though. The atmosphere reminds me a lot of San Diego and I guess I brought the weather with me as we had beautiful weather while I was there. The sky train was awesome except that there was no parking for it so I had to illegally park at the mall a couple times and pray I didn't get towed (which I didn't woot).

Glad to hear you had a good time!:awe:

Yeah, I definitely want to come back and despite all the negative press, I thought your city did a great job hosting the Olympics. No border crossing wait, sky trains every 3 minutes, volunteers in blue jackets every 100 feet downtown, and the general Canadian friendliness. I had fun arguing politics with a few drunks downtown. I also didn't seem to piss off many while driving my Mazda 3 with California plates but it seems to be a popular car there.

BTW, WTF are those flashing green traffic lights for?

What did you talk about? Sorry I know politics is a mine field but I can't help but ask. 🙂

What about the flashing green left turn arrows?

Not much different from a regular green arrow. Looking at my driving rules book (I'm learning to drive) it seems that these are usually in places where the arrow is the 4th light the other 3 above being your regular red, yellow, green. Through traffic has to okay the regular traffic signal while turning traffic goes by the turn signal.

Mainly health care. I'm quite liberal but I enjoy playing devil's advocate on occasion, so I was messing with them. The guys were part of the group we were hanging out with. (They were all friends of my cousin). One guy then tried to get me to order a Caesar so I could brag about it to all my friends back home. I'm sorry, but a drink made of clam juice does not entice me.

I also found it most entertaining when a couple guys in our group tried to get random people walking around us to sing Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."

Ah, well, then I guess I didn't cut anyone off.

Haha. Yeah I hate clam juice, makes me sick just thinking about it. Wow you know I never knew this was mainly a Canadian drink till you just mentioned this (had to look at wiki to confirm). Truthfully I can't think of many if any "stereotypical" Canadian things that many Candians actually like that much. Well accept beer 😀. Most of the stereotypes I feel are eastern Canadian traits, we're almost a different culture here on the west coast.

BTW: did you get a whiff of people smoking pot? On a daily basis I don't notice it that much but there were tons of people smoking it downtown during the celebrations!

I didn't smell any, but I had a cold so I couldn't smell much of anything and maybe it was for the best.
