For the trivia hounds, the sequences are taken from The Song Remains the Same during the Rain Song and Dazed and Confused.

We've been jamming to this all day at work now.

I just watched that last weekend. The sword fight in the castle in that movie is freakin' hilarious.

I was reading that those sequences were added in after they found the concert footage to be too dry and parts of it were either not recorded or had unusable footage. In Guitar World a few months back, Jimmy Page mentioned that the cameramen were so stoned that one fell asleep during filming, and another camera ran out of film 1/2 way though the concert. They had to recreate whole songs at a soundstage with extras pretending to be fans lol! If you watch the movie now, you can actually pic those scenes out. They also had to speed some footage up, slow some footage down, and even play different tracks over clips to piece together some songs (Since I've Been Loving You and Whole Lotta Love were the examples he gave).

What a mess 🙂 Gotta love the 70's These days, something like this wouldn't have made it past Youtube.

Interesting. I guess with all of those problems... it didn't turn out too bad.

Jesus... I still don't know how Jimmy played with his Gibson so god damn low. This guitarist plays the same exact way.

If your bridge isn't below your balls, you're not playing rock and roll.

For one thing, everyone knows guitars are phallic symbols, and if you've got one sprouting out of your chest, it just doesn't look right.

I agree, but I'm just saying... I play low, but now THAT low. I'd have a god damn hunchback in a couple of years. Especially since Gibsons aren't very nice when it comes to weight.
