I replied to sontin.it's really pain , still there are some deniers.I don't care about 12_1 or 12_0 or whatever you say.Using a word to play a dirty duty is not acceptable.a lot of people bought Nvidia Maxwell cards because they were told that it's 100% DX12 supported.

Edit :

Full DirectX 12 compatibility =! Full DirectX 12 support.

Question is why did you say :

They never said "full support".

I guess because for them to have 12.1 they would have to have full support for 12 first right?

Actually. . . no. 12.1 is a feature level which is different than base API support. I will say, from what I understand (I haven't gone through the documentation myself to verify) Asynch compute support is optional within dx12, so I don't think nVidia is wrong in saying they fully support dx12 unless they specified full support of even optional features. Obviously the thing with AoTS and the issues with support there are different than a press release.

FL12_1 is for advanced graphics effects. AoS is a outdated game with literally no graphics and a huge amount of compute processing.

Our work with Microsoft on DirectX 12 began more than four years ago with discussions about reducing resource overhead. For the past year, NVIDIA has been working closely with the DirectX team to deliver a working design and implementation of DX12 at GDC.

:'( :'( :'( :'(

They never announced the full support of every feature of the API. Your quote links to this blog arcticle:
we’ve announced that all Fermi, Kepler, and Maxwell GPUs will fully support the DX12 API
http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/09/19/maxwell-and-dx12-delivered/

API != Features.

Even on the GTX980TI slide they wrote "advanced API support".

I have to say :

Full DirectX 12 compatibility IS NOT Full DirectX 12 support.

And how can there be a "full compatibility" when you dont support certain features?

Not this stuff again...

Currently AMD and NVidia have different DX12 features they support. Not everyone is needed

Q: Are my 7970’s “fully” capable of next Gen API’s or are there going to be new hardware innovations with proprietary features that will lock me out? I could never find a clear answer for this! — dabigsiebowski

A: I want to be clear that there is no graphics architecture on the market today that is 100% compliant with everything DX12 or Vulkan have to offer. For example: we support Async Compute, NVIDIA does not. NVIDIA supports conservative raster, we do not. The most important thing you can do as a gamer is to own a piece of hardware that is compatible with the vast majority of the core specification, which you do. That’s where all the performance and image quality comes from, and you will be able to benefit. — AMD_Robert

AMD Reddit had a quote on it.

Oxide will give loads of excuse why they did not use these features and only go with AC because it was clear that it give only the advantage to AMD which is totally fine and AMD can do that. Some users will troll and complain when AMD cards will be a stutter and low fps in games like Just Cause 3, Rise of the Tomb Radier, Quantum Break. and other upcoming Nvidia and MS title simply because they cannot use Dx12.1 features.

I simply refunded ATOS because it is totally meant for AMD gamers so they can enjoy this game.

Return it because its broken, like GoW is, NOT because it benches faster on radeons because that's just a childish thing to do.
I returned it because it is only favoring 1 side, gulled to 1 side, lying about features and lying that they never funded from AMD.

your link 2014/09 = fully Support DX12 API
My Link 2015/01 = fully Support DX12

in meantime for 4 month , how many cards sold out base on false advertising ?

And how can there be a "full compatibility" when you don't support certain features?

Fully compatibility does not mean Fully support.Period.yet there are some features that Nvidia doesn't have it.
