I posted this the other day. In a nutshell it states how I couldn't get the computer to power up after removing a HD and some RAM.
First Post
I followed most of the suggestions, yet nevertheless had no luck. I brought my PSU to Fry's last night, they checked it and it was fine.
I came home, completely removed everything, then put the MOBO, PSU and Ram back in (I may have also had the HD plugged in - can't remember). Anyways, I did a quick test-boot and it started up. I turned it off immediately (like after 2 seconds of the boot starting). Thinking my problem was fixed, I put the rest of it back together. Well, no luck there after...again, no power.
Today I once again took EVERYTHING out of the box, remounted the MOBO, Ram and PSU and tried to turn it on....nothing. No power, no flicker, no nothing.
I've checked to make sure the switch on the back is on the proper setting (though I try it with both). Both the CPU fan and Mobo Fan are plugged in....and there are no loose screws rolling around.
Does anybody have any ideas??? What would cause it not to boot (besides the IDE Cables being backwards & no power cables plugged in).
TIA
