I just put this computer together last week. All of the parts are from previously working computers. When running games, and ONLY when running games, the games will suddenly vaporize. Theres no shuting down, no crashing, they literally disapear so fast that im still looking at the screen moving the mouse. The HDD which is normally loud when doing anything, doesnt make a peep when this happens. Since then I've gotten 3 blue screens of death that flash instantly then the computer reboots. These are rare though. One time I caught the file name in the blue screen and it was windows32k.sys .
This happens no matter the game, wether its full screen or windowed. Everytime it happens, I get two of these back to back in my windows application logs:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 6.

The specs are:
Jetway V600DAP
AMD 2800+ Barton
1 Gig mem (1X512 333, 1X256 333, 1X256 400, all running at 266)
ATI radeon 9550
SB Audigy 2
60 gig 133 IDE
One concern is that the board wouldnt recognize the 2800 barton as anything other than a 2200, 1.6 gig. It did allow me to "overclock" it to a max of a 2800+, but only if the RAM speed is set to 266. So it was either run at 500mhz slower processor, or drop the ram to an end speed of 266. I went with the latter.
Driver wise, all are manufacturer drivers accept the video drivers, which are Omegas. I have tried switching them out as well. The computer is behind a router with one other computer, my wifes.
Anyone have any idea whats going on? I have reinstalled every peice of hardware, and tested the drive and RAM, all checked fine. Any help would be appreciated : /.
