I have a Nforce 2 based computer that is running very weird. It was hit by lighting and the network port doesn't work. I have been trying to install Kubuntu, Ubuntu, and OpenSuse and they all freeze up one way or another. I think there is more damage then just the network port... I finally got Kubuntu to install and it runs but I get some weird errors so I don't know if it is working right or not. I tried to shut down and it stayed at a blank screen and then when I hit the power button it shut off normally.
