Ok, In that past I was cooling with chilled water and I never insulated the back. Well frost formed on the back. I freaked, I cleaned it all off and went back to just normal water cooling.
Everything was running fine intill last night. My computer just turned off and now it wont start back up. Now if I remove the cpu, I can get the board to start....as in the psu and the motherboard fan come on. As soon as I put the cpu back in the fans will twitch for a sec and thats it.
Now in the past when my fans have twitched like they are doing now it was almost always from something shorting the board. Is it possible that something on the back of the cpu socket went dead and for some reason having the cpu in casues a short?
Should I see about replacing the motherboard first or does it really sound like my cpu just went dead?
