I can't seem to find any shots of the inside of the case. Got any handy?

I do not have any inside pics of that case right now. The only pics I have of it are
HERE (I modded that case a little)

Lars - great mod, congratulations, sorry to see that mobo's power cord to go across the CPU fan, (damn Abit?).

Thanks. Yeah, I still do not know why this MB is designed like that (Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra).

Think I'm going to get one of these with the front USB

Anybody got a pic of the case with the front USB?

What about the question concerning the usb, anybody just plug it in and it works?

Thanks ;)

the USB (both color and print out) is wrong saying: +5v, +D, -D , G when usually most design are +5, -D, +D, G.
anyone plug in and no problem?

info on color and rest.

they sell whatever case they have access to. So you (Wiz) may not get the exact same case as other.
I did check the USB connectors and they did is wrong with the color. (but not wrong will the orientation). The bottom line is start with the red wire (5V) and forget about the miscolor of the green and wire. Then use the black as ground.

For USB on the board, you have to check what you board call for. check the above link for different kind.

Most board will follow example C but some use D.

I know its a good deal but now I have to figure what to do with it. Think I can upgrade my oldest system with the extra's laying around the room.:D

I paid extra to get the front USB, but it didn't come with it. I am gonna ask a refund for that. It comes with a Duro 400w PS.
I am running it with AMD 1600+ and ECS K7S5A mb. THe OS is win2000. But the machine crashes whenever I am installing Nero or Mozilla. It just reboots itself.

ANy one got a similar problem? Is this a ECS mb problem or the ps problem?

I have installed Nero with no problems on my k7s5a. The again, that doesn't mean it's your PSU. There could be other problems. But if I was asked, no, I wouldn't recommend using that Tigerpro with the k7s5a.

It's the cpu cooler problem. The cpu temperature was like 70c. After I changed the cpu cooler, it doesn't crash.

I had a similar problem in the past with ECS K7S5A mb. It would reboot itself just after logging in windows xp.
The problem came from the SDRAM slots; I was using two memory sticks.
I kept only one stick (in the slot that is closer to the CPU) and that fixed my problem.

Hope it helps.

just curious how old your daughter is? =P she should build her own if she's old enough =P
And also, I don't think you should be bribing her to get good grades...it doesn't quite work =P
