A while back I ordered this case but with the 300w psu option. Opened the box a week later and got the 400w. They shipped the case the next day and I have had no problems with it at all.

I ordered this case and one of the Comet ones three weeks ago. The $26 case arrived with the assembly parts not even in a plastic bag, simply rattling around inside the case. Worse yet, many of them had somehow settled in the power supply, so I had to disassemble the entire power supply.

The Comet case didn't arrive at all. I've emailed them three times now, and each time they send me a generic response saying that my order had shipped on XXX date, had been signed for by XXX, etc. I'm not sure they are even reading what I write. I'll have to call next week to straighten this out--assuming that I can.

Anyway, my experience has been pretty negative.

Has anybody bother to read evaluations for this sorry company?
I mean it is available and free.

Actually, yes. I read up on it before my first order by them and was a bit nervous. The prices were great so I took the plunge. Since then, I have had only good experiences with them, so YMMV.

how long does it take for their shipping? I couldn't find it anywhere on the page...but it said you can call for ups 2-3 day shipping. so that means it should take around 4-5 for their included shipping right?

It depends where you are, but I think they ship it UPS Ground, so it's 4-5 business days, at most. They usually send it out right away.

I received two of the cases today. I paid a total of $52 ($26 each). They arrived in good condition with no dents or damage. They are the LT-A06 cases shown here. The power supply is a Duro 400 watt max unit shown here. These power supplis are not recommended by AMD and I may replace them with something a little better. Regardless of the questionable power supply, this was a good deal.:)

Stability often depends on how the mainboard uses the PS supply. Many good boards use the 5V rail and use onboard regulators to supply the cpu/agp and 3.3 volt systems instead of the PS's 3.3 volt supply and there for a weak or poorly regulated PS may be stable with that board. The PS see's less amperage draw because it's pulling through a higher voltage for the same wattage used.

I did notice that a few of the mosfets inside were the larger TO-243 size which are better that the smaller TO-220's so that's a good indicator of amparage availbilty.

This is obviousy a lightweight case/PS but for $26 that's what you should expect and I bet it'll run any P4 system perfectly.

i got a LT-A17 case, it looks like crap with one of the edges dented. it is still usable and i guess it didn't promise much so it is one of those shady deals, you pay for nothing you get nothing. i guess i can ship it back cuz the dent then have them ship me another just like it, but then that's another 2-3 weeks...

where is the link that you can find out abuot this company? someone generously post a link, thanks.

Bump....
Got my two cases today. Well worth $26, although, $32 now.

Just hope these cases will power my ECS K7S5A and Athlon 1600+. I plan on overclocking!!!

I just built an ECS K7S5A with an AMD 1.4/266 and that runs fine with the 400W.

enable PM so that ppl can send you message.
check out:
what an old hardware site say
but i think the way they apply thermal paste is wrong, you should thin it to a very thin layer, using a no-use credit card or membership card (CC usually have good quality edge), probable should clean the HSF and CPU first with some rub. solution first. And apply some paste to the HSF surface first to "pre" filled the hole. Then lightly wipe out the extra on it. Besure there are enough paste but never use too much as it will actually lower the heat transfer rate.

Funny: The LCT 300W is $29 while the LCT400W case is $27! :)

I do not have any inside pics of that case right now. The only pics I have of it are
HERE (I modded that case a little)

you modded it a little????? :)

seriously though it looks nice and this is a heck of a price on a 400w power supply for my mainsys and free case for a test system that inherits my old 350w.

Thanks!

I promised a daughter that I'd build her her own PC if she got good grades this year. I've got most of the parts, but still needed a case. How timely...

:)
