You mean for Windows Vista Upgrade?

I paid as well and am still waiting for verification - though they charged me so that means that it should have shipped

Well, darn. I have 2 copies of XP home running in the house. One is eligible for the Vista upgrade, purchased 1 month ago, the other is not eligible, it's too old. Anyway, I went online and provided the wrong key, I used the older XP key I have, and I already mailed in the box top and receipt. I can't find the other box. Anyone know if they will check the key and see it was first activated with microsoft before the valid offer period? Am I screwed? I assume I am, since they will probably check their records.

Thanks to OP and esquared for the links. I bought 3 copies from CompUSA on Jan 2nd, only yesterday got around to sending in for the Vista upgrade. Microsoft has always been very good about getting my rebates back to me quickly, so it will probably only be couple of weeks.

I'm still not sure I'm going to actually install Vista on any machines, though. Honestly, the whole DRM issue really has me thinking hard about just converting the rest of my systems to Ubuntu Linux (already have two systems on Linux) or staying with the XP.

Good deal just the same, though. $30 (shipping & handling) for 3 copies of Vista Basic.
