Und keine Eier. I was wondering when someone would put this together. Barack Hussien Osama Hitler. Nice, very classy. I heard his granny dated Stalin too.

The circle is complete. Simsalbimbamba Saladu Saladim.

lolzees!

Hitler was a charismatic speaker as is Obama. That comparison is ok. But to go beyond that is ludicrous. Content is what is important, and the content of their speeches are just a tiny bit different :p

Hitler was quite the fellow. Many dismissed his antisemitic raving as merely a way to gain political support. And both
underestimated Hitler and found out he meant what he said.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I sure don't see Obama demonizing any group. But many people underestimated GWB.
And with GWB&co., there is that big gap between what they say and what they do. As for Fox news, they are steaming piles of crud in MHO.

Shall we quote the thousands of times that Fox News or Bush have been compared to Hitler here? (For the record, I dont believe Obama = Hitler)

We're not a broadcast "News" service.

Neither is Tom Sullivan.

Why re-read?
Who cares who we compare anyone here to? I thought Sullivan was part of Fox News Radio (show me where I'm wrong) I also thought Sullivan broadcasts his opinions on Fox (show me where I'm wrong)

So ok, people here have called Bush Hitler. I also had pizza for dinner. Neither has anything at all with a Fox "news" radio person broadcasting commentary likening Obama to Hitler.

Your comment is pointless.

Its called a double standard. The only reason the OP is even worth posting is because it happened on a Fox affiliate.

Really? Is it your position that if this happened on NBC, ABC, CBS, or CNN that a host comparing Obama to Clinton would have been ignored?

That's a pretty ridiculous position to take in my opinion.

Olbermann compared Bill O. to Hitler, hell, there is a picture of Olbermann giving a nazi salute holding up an Oreilly mask.

Well if you ever listen to Bill O, his entire existence is saying things that are negative, inflammatory, false, and hateful. Whether or not you wanna connect the dots between how Bill O speaks and how Hitler spoke, Olbermann generally only attacks someone when they've deserved it by being a total jackass. How about for once Fox News do something legitamite? If they have an issue with a candidate, actually cite valid, true things they dislike. Everytime I see Republicans attack someone they dislike it's using blatant falsehoods. And why? Because people who vote Republican are stupid enough to believe it without thinking. Yeah, I think I'm just gonna say it. You're either blind or stupid if you vote Republican .... I guess you could also just be a hateful bastard, but I was trying to be nice.

As opposed to Olbermann's mild-mannered temper and rhetoric.

The fact that you know this by heart means it wasn't ignored at the time, correct?

Edit: And saying that about another opinionated talk show host (who himself has compared people to Hitler several times), is nowhere near the same as saying it about a presidential candidate.

I don't know about you but to me there seems to be a bit of a difference between screaming death to the Jews and give hope a chance. Maniacal slavering for the death of millions and the euphoria of hope for the future just seem somehow different to me. But beyond the fact that Obama and Hitler have nothing in common, the observation of how they are alike is spot on.

Actually no, I had to search for it. Given Olbermann's strange obsession with Bill O I figured that he had done something like that, and google agreed. So yea, it was completely ignored, but Olbermann is pretty much ignored anyways, so who knows.....

Edit - cleaned up quotes.

That doesn't make any sense at all. Politically, Obama is pretty far away from the Nazis. For one thing Obama leans social libertarian, whereas Hitler was strongly authoritarian.

It's just the old propaganda game of mentioning two things together, Obama Hitler Obama Hitler Obama Hitler, and people start to associate their bad feelings about Hitler with Obama.

It works with pretty girls and beer, it works with nice music and products, it was used with Saddam and Al Queda, where they were constantly used in the same sentence.

I'm pretty right-wing on a variety of issues, but I think even Mussolini would look to his right and see TLC cackling away in delusional psychosis.

Obama supporters shouldn't be outraged they should be happy. When a news organization known to be the political mpouthpiece for the Republican party makes such a stupid bone headed gaff like compaing Obama to Hitler it gives Obama more credibility

indeed. he usual gets too shrill for me but the argument this time was pretty solid.

Bush: we must have FISA or people will die
Bush: pass the FISA bill with telecom immunity provision or I'll veto it

i.e. give the telecoms immunity or I'll let people die.

Nice prioritizing. What an asshat.

You mean TLC owning himself yet again by linking to his ongoing defense of the illegal activities perpetrated and supported by our lovely administration? Yes.

We live in a nation of laws, and when you break them for authoritarian/orwellian purposes, you rightly are called a fascist.

GG and Sieg Heil, TLC.

Actually my argument is that if the administration perpetrated those policies then it's the administration that should suffer, not the telcos. But misrepresenting someone's position is par for the course for certain people in this forum and they cap off that sort of idiocy with allusions to Hitler. Then they whine about the Constitution and freedoms while doing everything in their power to shut down their competition from speaking.

To top it off, many of the same people all bent out of shape about Obama getting this idiotic treatment had no qualms when Bush was given the same treatment. The selective indignation is pitiful, and a sign of the blatant partisanism that infests this place like a disease.

So tell us all about Hitler again.
