Meh, one of my cousins stabbed a guy and only got one year for attempted murder. If he took a plea bargain he could have gotten out on time served.

It seems like what it says in the law books and what actually happens are two different things.

No kidding...and how difficult is community college math anyway? Jesus, just show up to class and any idiot could breeze through it.

You ever have beginner, introductory algebra? You like, like what you had in 6th grade? That's how difficult it is.

i can completely sympathize with someone wanting to shoot a russian math teacher.

i had a russian (or at least eastern european) chemistry teacher that was beyond fucking worthless. if you can't coherently speak the language, you can't teach, ffs.

uh calculus, differential equations, and vector algebra is the same regardless of where it's taught.

My physics classes at my JC were way harder than my physics classes at UCR. Although it is UCR.

But there's nothing easy about JC. They don't have curves there either.

This.

Which JC did you take physics at? (I am in same area)

Mt. SAC
Man my professor said their physics cirriculum was so hard because it was to allow people to transfer to cal tech.

Most of my JC friends transferred to UCLA, UCSD, or UCI.

But I loved my physics class at JC. Well I think the professor had mostly to do with it. He actually provided strategies to work through long and complicated problems, rather than regurgitating equations and working out examples on the board like most of my university professors.

I love how JC physics classes have their lectures structured in with the lab. The lab becomes very complimentary to the lectures.

I swear, about 3/4th of the 3 quarter physics series at UCR was covered in the one semester of pre-physics intro class that I took at my JC.
