<< I am not touching the board. I am going to sell it and get a Soyo Dragon+. I am not very knowledgeable about AMD but I found that the 7DX is not even a new gen board. It's for the pre-XP processors and it just so happens that the XP's are compatible with them. I will not stand for a sub par board!

How long did shipping take superchink?

i won them at the spot in san diego.

I told my friend to go early in the morning. He came back and was bitching all day about the bastards that won and how cold it was. Then he promptly stated that it was the final straw and he was changing his major from Computer Science.

I have a iomega 12x burner and it will do for now. What I am wondering about these high speed burners is the noise. I dont have one so I dont know. But from the 32x plextor reader I have, I know it makes alot of noise while reading at high speed. So if you are burning at 32x, wouldnt it also make alot of noise for 2-3min straight? Personally I'd like to have it quiet for that extra minute or 2.

Holly crack. the 24x is exremely fast, even my reader can't keep up with it. 32x is gonna be a speed demon.

By the way, while I don't necessarily think TDK makes the BEST cdwriters, they definitely build incredible DAE (digital audio extraction) technology into their stuff. I have never ripped CDs as fast as I have with their drives. At least 2-3x the ripping speed of my plextor.
