Comey's upcoming book paints Trump as an idiot.

"He painted Trump as a relentless liar who is obsessively unethical, devoid of humanity and a slave to his ego, who is clueless about his job and unconcerned about a Russian assault on American democracy."

"Jabbing the President in a strikingly personal way, Comey noted the size of Trump's hands, said his skin looked orange and described white rings around his eyes from tanning goggles."

And yet he has trimmed his approval rating deficit relative to Obama from 20% to 7%. In another thread I mentioned that IQ is falling around the world and that the trend is expected to accelerate in the next 50 years. As people collectively get dumber, Trump could become the new normal. I think the long term trend in America is towards autocracy. The ruthless powerful can only be countered by a strong base of intelligent critically thinking citizens. That base in America is gutted.

Say what you will about decisions Comey made I doubt there will be anything in this book that is an outright lie, unlike current POTUS who lies as part of breathing.

Yup. Bush had a public image of being slow but behind the curtain he was felt to be quite sharp. For Trump, behind closed doors, he's viewed more as shart.
 
He also asked Comey to investigate the pee tape, which is odd if it isn’t true, why would he be worried. The RNC has set up a website called Lyin Comey. com

It's been hilarious beyond the pale watching the liberals in the media try to decide how much play they're going to give comey. Remember this is the same group that wanted him burned at the stake for the 'second' billary email investigation and the resulting press conference. There's absolutely no question that it affected the election results and may have cost them the presidency. To their credit, I have seen some of hillary's senior campaign staff say they won't buy the book and that comey is still a pos.

Comey is known as a moralistic, sanctimonious grandstander. The nicer nicknames include Saint Comey or Cardinal Comey. The most dangerous space in DC may be the area between him and a tv camera. He's cashing in now though and that's the American way.

This is crazy to me and is probably the best proof to date the tape exists.
He basically asked the FBI to find the tape and bring it to him. Crazy.

I is not falling around the World, only in rural red States Murica and some of the most conservative parts of the World like Hungary and Russia. Propaganda rules those parts of the Earth.

I think Comey made some serious mistakes in judgement during the election.

I also think he's about 500 times more believable than Trump.

I would love it if the book proceeds were donated to stuff that Trump and his base absolutely hates...but it ain't my millions I'm giving away 🙂 Trump will single-handedly make sure sales skyrocket by going postal about it...
