Does any of this really matter? Trump is never going to be impeached, since it's a political process requiring 2/3 of the senate. So what's the point? We knew he was a lying sack of shit when he took office.

Maybe but we can't get past the sore losers to find out.

Well, the obama was saying there was no intent to harm the U.S., the degree of classified emails that Mrs. Clinton was trafficking in is very exaggerated. The obama went public with all this! He went public with his own exoneration and thought that the investigation should be brought to a screeching halt. And it was! Comey got together and they stopped the investigation, and that allowed them and Hillary — for the rest of the campaign — to say she had been cleared. That’s why they got so mad at Comey when he did the July 5th press conference, because back in April, the obama thought he’d taken care of this. Your obama and Comey "colluded" to stop the investigation on Hillary.

Who the fuck is 'The Obama'. Michelle? Her kids? Pray enlighten us upon this rather fascinating turn of phrase.

Holy crap. I just read the rest of that. You are insane.

Good. Good. What else can you pull out of your ass? Maybe your head? Now that would be quite the trick!

...I guess Dems are back to loving Comey now though. I get so confused. First they loved him, then hated him then loved him again. Conversely, Repubs hated him, then loved him, now seem to hate him again.

Hmm, I've heard this inane ALT-Right talking point dusted off and trotted out a few times and it still does not stick, ever. Is this some sort of fantasy you guys have invented to help deal with Comey?.... Is this supposed to be some sort of "argument"? Strawman at best. You did, however, hit the "confused" point out of the park...

Loyalty oaths being demanded of independent agencies and their top officials. A populate that loathes its Senate and practically cheers their executive leader as he stretches, stresses and ultimately one day leads to the democratic system breaking. It's hard to not see shades of the fall of the Roman republic in all of this. All that, and instead of a Julius Caesar you guys have a dumbass like Donald Trump causing your state all of this irreparable harm. It's genuinely sad.

it's because Obama is black you see. It's also why I've Got Brain Trauma can only ever call him "the obama."

because blacks aren't people you see. they are objects to be reviled.

I appreciate your blatantly racist statement but Obama's primary role in history will be the complete and utter decimation of the Democratic party on the national, state, and local level during his presidency.

I think at the very least it prevents his agenda from being acted upon. The way to think about it is, the GOP has a 2 year window to get all their stuff done. Then in 2018 there will be midterms where they will likely lose the house and then in 2020, where they may lose everything.

Right now washington is busy trying to sort it out and so they aren't passing or trying to implement all the crazy stuff. That is good for people who don't support the Trump agenda.
Finally, this is dragging down the GOP approval ratings.

I say let it drag out and play for months. Pence really isn't any better and probably is more acceptable to most people. The best thing that could happen is for Kushner or Sessions or someone in the campaign to face charges, that the GOP has to rationalize away.

No, it's just that simpletons like Ackmed can't grasp subtlety, or humor for that matter but that is beside the point. Really complex issues like approving of one thing a person does but not approving of some other thing that same person does is way beyond his grasp. It's beyond the grasp of most modern American conservatives because they have devolved into a completely tribal state where there can be absolutely no dissent amongst "true conservatives."

Take Paul Ryan for example. The guy is a die-hard conservative by any sane measuring stick, ready to profitize grandma's healthcare and retirement income by any means possible. The guy would happily authorize the use of baby seal blood as the next greatest fracking medium if it meant a 0.1% increase in profit, but because the guy was willing to compromise on something like immigration in order to get everything else conservatives want, he's a fucking RINO. He isn't being practical. He isn't just wrong about one policy. No, no, no. He's establishment! He needs to be replaced with a real conservative!

So you see, in the worldview of a simpleton like Ackmed, you either agree with every single thing a person says and does or you are against them 100%. There is no in-between. Now, as if that mentality isn't bad enough, it actually gets even worse. Much worse. While these simpletons are stuck thinking agreeing with one person on some issues and disagreeing on other issues is hypocrisy, they will actually flip-flop on one issue, back and forth as it suits their current narrative. Take Russia for example. Russia can either be our greatest enemy or our potential strongest ally depending on which way the wind is blowing. If hating on Russia is a good attack angle to hurt Obama, that's what they'll do. Now that hating on Russia can't be used to hurt Democrats, and more and more evidence is coming out that the whole Trump admin. has Russian ties, well look at that, Russia is great. Putin is a great leader. As a bonus, it's actually Democrats that are the hypocrites because they didn't condemn Russia when Romney did but condemn them now "when it suits the liberal cause." Never mind that Russia wasn't being aggressive back then but are now. That's just semantics.

Lol. You seem stressed. You should learn to let things go that are outside your control. :)

They are totally clueless. They feel that blocking the agenda of a man elected on a platform to implement sweeping change makes their candidates more electable. They cannot even remotely comprehend that they lost races across the nation because of a wholesale disgust towards their policies.

Is this a defense mechanism or some form of blind ignorance? It doesn't matter. What's important is to keep encouraging it. The media has got a lock on that aspect. They will believe anything their media sources tell them. The process of dumbing them down while also telling them they're uber smart has made them very easy to manipulate.

It's interesting to witness on one level but very sad on another. What happens when we've had the fourth or fifth generation of dummies teaching the next generation? How many graduates of colleges like Evergreen State can the nation absorb?

I just read Lindsey Grahams's statement and he's saying it's a good day for Trump. And, it just reinforces what I've said earlier. None of this matters because the Republicans are going to stick by Trump because they would never give an inch to the Democrats.

Even if Trump is blantly abusing his power they'll still stick by their man. Reminds me of Hitler and his henchmen. Right until their death they stood by Hitler. Never admitting that Hitler was bad.
