They fvcking charge $57 (for non cable tv subscribers) a month for 1500/128k cable here.

If they do upgrade the speeds to what you're getting, I won't mind switching over from SBC DSL.

About $37.50 ish. Probably a bit more with at he moment.

I'm happy with 600kbps for £25 a month. I definately wouldn't pay for more speed. Just not worth it to me. Rather spend the extra on something else personally.

They just did it... I downloaded a file and was like "holy crap, 380 KB/s?" average is about 360... but when I get a real good site it gets as high as 385

I don't think we even have a date set yet for the rollout. maybe they aren't the only game in town in the markets they are upgrading already. Maybe they figure that we will wait because we have to, what choice do we have, DSL? I'm too far from the CO to get decent speeds.
