And that's the bit that actually makes this rather bad. None of the Comcast servers were compromised, but mail.comcast.net was redirected for a period of time. Flush your DNS cache, the DNS entries for their mail servers have been fixed. Comcast's own DNS servers are refreshed, external DNS servers may not be.Originally posted by: chrisg22

And this is a really good time to start using SSL for SMTP and POP/IMAP if you aren't doing so already. Plaintext access could have been compromised, SSL would not have.
