Combine FS/FT and WTB into one category again?

I say yes to combining the FS/T once again, i liked it much better that way. I'm always getting in trouble now for posting in the wrong thread. =/

A separate place for all the Trolls would be nice also...theres one in particular i keep clicking on b/c its some hardware i'm looking for, Doh!

As a few wise men mentioned, seperating the troll stickies only defeats the reason for them. You want their info prominantly displayed so everyone knows who they are and not to buy from them. Plus it keeps their info front and center in case there are any other victims that have yet to come forward.

I vote yes for merging the forums into one. I returned here after many years and was uncomfortable with the way that matters get confused with separate forums. Also I can see from just the few days I have been back that many sellers simply don''t look at WTB forum.

As for the Trollers. Have a Single Post up top containing only Troll names to avoid and some other place where people can read details of how trolls work (or rather don't work)

I agree that having them merged is best. There's nothing like searching somebody's FS/FT thread and you notice he wants something you've got, lol. They belong together. And even if I don't have anything to sell, I don't like having to "browse" two forums instead of one. I've already got OT, Hot deals, and PC Gaming to go through - what do you think I've got that much time on my hands?

this applies to me too! I came back and posted a WTB in the FS forum and got yelled at ....but its clear that the WTB forum really doesnt get much attention at all....i voted yes

Also, the troll threads are too much....I think one thread on top with the troll names listed in the title and one post inside by a moderator summing up all the new troll cases with links to the full troll threads in their own troll forum. That way people can see on the first page the names of those who they shouldn't trade with without then taking up way too much space.

I'm glad to see that the moderators on this forum ask for input from users....thats why AT is awesome!

I voted yes, because normally people (well me) browse for a product name or type of product like HDDs, so its easier to spot the product you are dealing with if everything is merged together.

I never look at WTB but I have stuff to sell

I'm actually undecided... nice having all together yet sometimes nice having it separate. I've run out of stuff to sell and run out of money to buy with so I'm not doing much right now in it anyway...

I guess either way is fine with me.

I say NO, Its nice being able to browse for items without the countless people bumping WTB threads...
I also don't like ppl with those effin SOLD portion of they're threads... Especially when the SOLD area
out weighs the actual for sale or they just mark the price as SOLD then leave it there.
I only care about what you have not what you no longer have for sale

I voted yes, but I have to agree with you on this! It sucks searching the forums and only getting hits on ppl's sold lists. It can be handy if they list the price it sold at, but most of the time that isn't the case. Clean up your FS posts people!

Honestly, since the new board format has been put into place, some of the subforums seem like they've essentially become backwaters that get a handful of views. More consolidation = more views for WTB. I only have so much time on my hands, so I'm likely to never visit WTB.

ill just add about those stickies if you increase your threads per page to say 50 or 100 they really because a non issue, i use 100

I use 100 as well and they don't bother me, plus it keeps them front and center as i'm sure most people rarely would look into a troll thread until something happened.
