Combat Arms - Who is playing?

I was playing last night and I couldn't play to save my life. first game i join is that new ctf map in the jungle with the crashed plane. I'm on the red team. Red team's "base" is just awful. it's just a death funnel. you're either bombarded by grenades or you get sniped as you walk out of the fence.
several of the maps in that game favor one side over the other.

2nd game i played was One man army on junk flea or whatever that is called. i'm not great at OMA, but i can usually get at least a 1:1 ratio. I was getting like 1:2 or worse.

3rd game was ctf in that snow map with the missile silos. everyone on the blue team was like 5:1 compared to 1:2 or 1:3 on the red team. Their scores were like 48 kills to 8 deaths. it was insane.

You're lucky I wasn't in that OMA game.

My K/D is 1.83 right now but that's because I started bad also. On Junk Flea, OMA, I normally do like 30/10 or 45/15. That's like a 3:1 k/d.

Okay, now I'm addicted to this game. It's the damn supply cases. I just want to get more money so I can gamble on those things.

In like 50% of the games I play now, I get called hacker. It's like an automatic defense mechanism to getting owned. "OMG HACKER! Whew, for a second there, I thought he was better than me, and my e-penis almost shriveled."

Lol, yes Nexon also did make Maplestory. That game took out over a thousand hours of my life >.>. Anyways, Combat Arms is a fun game. I guess you could compare it to a poor man's COD 4. It really is quite fun and on top of that it's free. I played during the beta and I just started up again and I have to say it really is quite addictive. The only thing I don't like is the fact that weapons only last for a certain period of time. I would rather have it last forever and have you pay more for them but whatever. It's their gameplay choice and it makes it "unique" in a way.

I originally thought the "renting" of weapons was lame too but then, I realized that it was GENIUS.

You start with lame shit and then you have to "rent" better shit, for a specific time. If you don't play, you get no pay. If you could actually buy a weapon, then not play for a good long while, you'd come back and it would still be there....kinda sucks....

Renting give you the incentive to play and get more GP to either "rent" new or keep current weapons and such.

i wouldn't mind that so much if they'd give you more gp per game. as i said before, you almost have to play 24/7 to be able to afford to buy stuff.

i guess it doesn't really matter as i haven't played the game in a while.

They just added the Black Market with new character models for $12, who apparently move a little faster (unconfirmed) and come with 50,000 GP.

The black market has some good things in it. I purchased a boonie hat, an and m11 knife. When combined with the light vest, you're character can't get much faster (unless you can get the combat beret)

I hacked once hacking became incredibly obvious. People super-jumping from bottom story to rooftop. Tried hacking, was boring, still got killed by people with invulnerability hack. quit. heh

Whoa. Oh well, they can be annoying but then again....I just ignore them or find another room. That seems to work fine (for the most part).
