Hey cheex, when I get home I'll pm or message in CA if you're on a vent server we can use, as long as it isn't more than about 10 ppl..which I seriously doubt we'll see more than 5 at a time on. If we can get 4 on at one time, we'll head into the clan server and do a battle or two. I've been wanting to do a clan CTF match just for fun realizing my team will probably lose LOL.
Fav weapons of mine:
Scar with aimpoint
M590 shotgun
SPR or MSG90
and dual pistols with aimsights for pistol server matches..carry the other in your backpack to quick switch to b/c you'll run out of ammo fast.
only armor I use is a helmet too.
Another tip, you can pick up weapons on the ground with the 'e' key. Good way to test out other weapons without paying for them

I played for a bit last night. Pretty fun game, but I am just godawful right now. My first (half) round I ended up 6-9 and my second (full) round I ended up 12-15 or something like that.
I didn't spend any time looking at button configurations beforehand, so I was learning on the fly, but I think I seemed to get the gist of things by the end of the second round.
How do you buy weapons? I was able to grab other player's dropped weapons, but they disappear after the round ends.
At first I was disappointed there was no voice chat, then I saw what some of the idiots were typing in text chat and that made me very happy there was no voice chat. I also thought the graphics were decent enough.
I'll definitely give this another shot later in the week or on the weekend. Great game for free play. :thumbsup:

yeah that is so true... 24/7 to get the cash flow or stay with the M16.. which is kinda lame... dunno why...
TIP: In case you didn't notice, it is cheaper to buy weapons and armour for a week instead of per day.
TIP: One Man Army is the fastest way to gain EXP and GP. In a 16 player, 45 kills game, you can gain over 400GP per match.
16 people on Junk Flea is mayhem but it is rewarding. If I'm hosting though, I usually limit Junk Flea to 12. Cold Seed is okay with 16. Lots of action.

The reason is it is a free game, but dump some cash into it to get GP. Like $10 for 10,000 GP or something like that.
I don't mind using the M16, like Cheex said in a full 16 player OMA junk yard map even if you are at the bottom of the group you'll still end up with a bunch of cash and after a couple nights you'll be able to get your weapon. Plus, in a 16 player junk flea map, spawn and chunk 2 grenades and you're dead anyways LOL
Well, if we are on together, even if its not a clan match we can play some Elimination. At least, we'll get some practice together for when we start clan wars.

I installed it yesterday, wow I was getting owned, I'm pretty decent at CS, but I suck ass at this. The AK was worthless as was the Shotgun, I had both and at close range I was doing almost no damage. I need armor and a better weapon. Pretty good for a free game but unless they were cheating I'm that bad Point Blank with a Shotgun 3-4 shots and the dudes weren't going down.

Heavy armour makes a world of difference. It does make you move slower though.

Maybe you were hitting some lag bubbles. I've noticed that in a match or two, guys just wouldn't go down like they normaly do... noticed the ping was pretty high in that instance.
If you realize that happening, leave him alone. While you're wasting bullets on him, someone *IS* gonna just come up and shoot you in the back. I promise you that.

It's possible that they just respawned. You're invincible 3 seconds after you respawn.
CA just downloaded a new patch. Any idea what's in it/what they patched?

Some added weapons and an extra level in the patch.
I bought a 1911 and put a scope on it. It's so fuckin useless. The UMP is good though.

Maybe the reason I have so much fun with it is because I've accepted the fact that you have to "rent" your weapons. :roll:
I don't mind it, but I do think they could either drop prices or up how much you get per game. I'm only averaging around $100 (or whatever the currency is) per game. That's basically with whatever game type, and however well I do.
