I was going to buy the UMP last night for a week..but decided to not buy anything right now. I live in Houston and Hurricane Ike looks like it is going to mess up my gaming for a few days..I'd hate to buy a weapon then be without power the entire week I've rented it LOL.

Once you have achieved at least Private rank...you can join a clan.

At the top of the screen, you should see the Clan button (its the 3rd one). Then do a clan search for "Team AT". Then click apply.

Played One Man Army for about an hour or so last night; tonnes of fun! I had to turn off Crossfire due to some bad flickering, but it still runs maxed on one card. This is a good little game they have going here.

I have a slight concern with the hitboxes sometimes, as I swear I stand right in front of a guy and unload an entire clip into him, yet he doesn't die. Not sure what that is all about.

Also, I have a friend invite, but the screen pops up, then disappears before I get a chance to click anything. Anyone have this problem?

i've had that happen too. it could be the 3 second respawn invincibility, but sometime it happens when they shouldn't still have that.

i've had that happen too. it could be the 3 second respawn invincibility, but sometime it happens when they shouldn't still have that.

Maybe they are lagging real bad. I've seen it happen too. Oh well.

My consistent point is that the game is a lot of fun and you can't expect everything to be perfect because after all, it is a FREE game. So I try not to nitpick about stuff.

I agree completely! I'm really, really enjoying this game, and I didn't have to pay for it! I love a good deathmatch sometimes, and the little bit of CTF I played last night was fun too.

Oh an pontifex, I think you're right about the 3 second respawn invlunerability. They really should have the invulnerable guy glow during that 3 seconds or something, kind of annoying.

One Man Army is a mad rush to kill someone before you get shot in the back. And yeah, turning a corner to see a guy who just spawned sucks ass.

It was a pleasure for me knifing a guy in the head after my clips ran full out dry. All ammo done!!! I survived long enough to finish all my ammo, knifed a guy in the head, then got shot in the back with a shotgun. ROFL.

I'm pretty proud of my K2D ratio at this point. I know it wil go down as soon as I start clanning.

On the clan note... I'm not sure I'll be in the Team AT clan at this point. Apparently a lot of my buddies from the original Rainbow 6 (guys I've known for almost 9 years) have a clan, and I probably will be joining them.

I'll keep you on my list and I'll hop into games when I see ya on.

This game is awesome for being free! Took a bit of getting used to, coming from cs but I'm doing alright now. Its just funny how you can switch from a sniper rifle to an assault weapon instantly, its like the old awp/deagle bug in cs except you get an m16 right after.

Yea that 3 second respawn protection could use some adjustment, like a glow when its in effect, and maybe the spawnee shouldn't be able to shoot until his protection was gone..

Did anyone have a problem with this game with a wireless keyboard? I have a microsoft wireless 6000 and sometimes my char's movement just stops (while I'm holding the key).
