Columbus Day

He opened the gates for the Europeans to come to America in droves. The Vikings that made it over first only founded a failed colony in Newfoundland and didn't document the trip. Columbus did. I gather Columbus was pretty hated as a colonial leader though.

Either way, I get the day off and thats they way I likes it. Anyone who tries to get the holiday repealed should have their tongue removed. 😛
