I have got through with 7 orders (delivered) so far ... ofcourse, I used 3 diff name/address.

Addr1: Accnt 1 , Accnt 2, Accnt 3.
Addr2: Accnt4, Accnt5
Addr3: Accn6, Accnt 7

Note: Only 2 accnts active (per addr) at any time.

My plan is to get 10 orders 'cos I just started my DVD collection with the XB6D deal. After hours of research on the web and the forums (AT and FW) abt what people ordered so far, I finally decided on 30 great DVD's (actually 27..but added 3 more for making a complete number).

3 more accounts to go ! Hope CH does not pull the plug on this deal anytime soon ....

dude ..be proactive..think of ways to beat the system .... i did not just make 7 calls and lie down waiting for my order to come by ....it took a lot of strategies and trciks to get it so far...

With 3 more accounts ..i'll be taking off this DVD mania for a bit ..chill out for the holidays... come back at after a month and maybe order a few more times.

btw: CH will pull the plug on this baby sometime in Jan 03. Hurry up..good things dont last forever !
 
got my 3rd and 4th enrollments yesterday (all to the same address)

called them up today and cancelled both accounts and made two more orders, all in one call 😉

i am not sure about call blocking cos i have never experienced it before .... i always get through in 10 minutes ... besides i dont think they are so manipulative....they may just take an order but never approve it.

you might want to try out theWolf Husky Phone Bypass method. i think i've posted the link in this thread before, but it probably got lost.

I started this thread after I placed my first order - so that was more than 2 weeks ago. I called customer service today and was told that one order was totally missing, and the other one was "denied." Supposedly they send me a letter "last month" to explain and get "more information," but I never got one. At least I had a helpful CSR who helped me place two more orders... let's hope they charge and ship soon!

Now, more than ever, I want to get lots more accounts going on other people's names, addys, and cards to stick it to CH. Then again, maybe they figured out who I was and cancelled my orders for starting the AT effect on this deal! Ha!

RDaneel....i feel sad for you man...I owe all the 21 DVD's to you since I knew about this deal from your post.

My advice is to be proactive..dont just sit and think that the orders will come to you..you need to constantly call them and check your status..and re-order agin if necessary !
 
ok, I just called my CC today and CH just charged me 21.90 TODAY and I called two days ago to order. It is still in pending Authorization. But what does that mean? Does that mean it goes thru? Or does that mean they charged me anyway and they are still evaluating my account status?

P.S. This is my SECOND order w/ the same information as the first one. (first one was canceled immediately upon reciept)
 
crap, i think i'm missing out on a good DVD deal again, wud have been nice to get rid of CH .. damn it, damn it! 🙁

AFAIK, CH will only charge you after they approve the order.

well, if it doesn't work, try shipping to a relative's/friend's place.

I am a long term multi account Columbia House customer.

Very happy..I do my deals and then cancel.

But thanks to y'all.I was wondering.

Where were my two deals I had going from this new "code."

I had already done one deal successfully, and thwn cancelled.

But it had been almost 4 weeks on these latest two new ones.
I called today....and was politely helped. They could not locate my orders.

So I got them re-entered.

I thank y'all for alerting some of us we may experience a problem.
This is UNUSUAL for Columbia House.
But at least now for me it is resolved.

And then in 2-3 weeks when these arrive, I can do two more and get another 6 DVD's.

kinda weird because this was my first time ever using CH

do you live in a dorm/frat or something? it could have been some previous person that lived there that caused you to get rejected.

What number do you call? If you call CS, you are asked for your account number. To my knowledge, they didn't give me one. I want to check on the order (my 2nd) I made 2 weeks ago. Should I call 888-242-3837? Thanks.

I got my order today! Finally!
So I ordered on 10/26/02
My credit card was charged on 10/30/02
And I got my dvd's on 11/16/02

So it took 3 weeks. Longer than I would like. But not ridiculously long. I'm happy.

 
I called up a month or so ago, made two purchases for 3 DVD's each on the same day, got them last week, and cancelled right away. Worked flawlessly for me, but I have not tried opening another right away. Just thought I would post another success story.

Just as an FYI:

Cirque du soleil is out of stock..if you have ordered it...your order will be on hold..so call them and get another order.

I just live in an apartment complex...

A buddy of mine that lives in the same place ordered too so I'll see if he gets it

it could be that a previous tenant didn't pay them. try calling and explaining to them
 
woooohoooo, another order i placed last week with a one time use cc, new address just got charged.......

now if i can only remember what i ordered ( i think it was blade, blade 2, saving private ryan)
 
I used this code earlier today, so it still works. I ordered and got my first set, then closed the account and opened a new one about three weeks ago which never got charged, so I called back and ordered some other ones. If that still doesn't go through, I'll use a different address. This is a great deal - get in if you can 🙂
