Blue states really need to pull these kinds of stunts. Either the court continues to ruin its legacy and legitimacy, or it actually begins acting in a consistent manner (and of course, pack the court in the meantime)

And why stop at guns? Go all out.
I agree. Republicans want SCOTUS to go low, then blue states need to help them put their faces in the dirt.

Dems need to help delegitimize the court as entirely partisan. Pass blue state laws that the court will corruptly overturn. Media blitz how corrupt it is AND sell how only Dems can re-legitimatize the court either through expansion or providing enough Dem senators to impeach.

Today's media won't do that. They'll only play along that democratic states are being unfair to republican sensibilities. NYT: "Why it's wrong that Democratic states pass constitutional laws."

Even with the proof in front of their faces, it would be a poor platform to run on we need to impeach justices.

Why? With the naked and unabashed corruption that thomas has displayed, you think it's a bad message to remedy a corrupt court?

I would think impeaching a corrupt justice goes over much easier than expanding the court.

The majority of people don’t follow politics and even less so the Supreme Court decisions. All it would look like is petty politicians looking to punish the other side. It’s enough of a battle just to fight the lies the orange monkey is spewing to even go after more swamp creatures. Biden has to get back to pushing that he needs a bigger majority in both chambers than pushing to remove unelected officials.
