All my searches have resulted in links to individual printers. I'm looking for a list of printers. Maybe my search queries aren't great, but here is what I'm trying to get. (And I hope someone out there has done before) The best I've been able to come up with is going to newegg and using their guided search to create a list, but that only gives me a list of what newegg sells. I'm looking for a list of what exists that fit my needs.
I want a list of color-laser multifunction printers that have built-in duplex units and network connectivity. My working definition of multifunction includes printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. This is intended for a home office environment, so the units that have 5 paper trays and stand 4ft tall are not really being considered. I think that some of my requirements are a bit steep, so here's the order of priority, from most important to least important.
1) Printing/scanning/copying
2) Automatic duplex
3) Built in networking
4) Faxing
I'm not looking to purchase now. I'm looking to purchase about a year from now. But since I don't intend to purchase a new printer (refurb equipment is so much more student-friendly in terms of budgeting), my best guess is that I'll be looking to buy a refurb of a printer that is relatively new today. So I'm trying to put together a list of devices I should start keeping an eye out for. Has anyone compiled a list of printers that match (or even somewhat match) my requirements?
