Why do people keep saying this? It's just ground beef or chicken, and it's weakly seasoned at that. If Taco Bell affects you that way, I'd hate to see what properly prepared Mexican food does to you.

I agree, Taco Bell is just shit. I haven't eaten at one in years. With all the great Mexican places around San Diego I don't know why I'd ever go to Taco Bell.

Chipotle uses cilantro, and cilantro gives some people problems.

My wife is one of them. She gets stomach cramps from cilantro (which is a curse because she's Mexican).

I'm one of those people with a genetic trait that makes it taste like soap 🙁

I think the real question here is why do you want to clean your colon?
You realize it is a tube for the storage of shit right?
It is not supposed to be especially clean.

If you're attempting to quickly cut some weight for some reason, it isn't bad. Also, if you expect someone to be thoroughly inspecting your colon for any reason, it might be a nice courtesy.

That is why I ask. There are definitly reasons to clean the colon, but they should be rare, and in most cases you would want to use something like GoLytely which is available via prescription.

the stuff they give you before a colonoscopy will clean out your colan but you really dont want to take that unless you really have to

You talking the prep kit where you have to drink that gallon of chalk crap? Ugh. I remember doing that. I called it the "night of a thousand waterfalls".

I also wonder the same thing. I have a friend who swears he only goes every 3 days. 😵 This is incomprehensible to me. All I know is that I am a religious twice to three time a day shitter. I once didn't go for 4 days; had surgery and the after effects of the general anesthesia stopped up my colon. My stomach bloated to the size of a watermelon and I was in terrible pain. The doctor recommended I try an enema and that worked. Colon has been fine ever since.

You probably had postoperative ileus. And every three days is fine. It means his body is using most of the food he is taking in.

if i only went once every three days, i'd still go sit in the bathroom anyway, just for some peaceful downtime. that alone has health benefits over and above the dumping.

I had a colonoscopy 4-5 years ago...they gave me a quart of this drink mix to pound in the course of a few hours

oh my god

Just a quart?

I got a 3qt jug and package of mix powder, along with some laxative tablets.

Do the laxatives, wait until you've finished going and not much is coming out, then mix up the jug of powder, and chug a pint of it every 10 minutes (so over an hour), and make sure you have a clear line to the bathroom.
