Collge students: How much did you pay for your MS software?

i got winxp pro sp1a for $7.

i paid $15 each for winXP, office XP and visual studio.net

I'm not sure if they have Office 2003 yet. I'll have to check on that.

Visio, any version of Windows, and any version of Visual Studio is free
I pay full academic price on Office though

Win2K
WinXP Pro
Win2K3 Server
Visual Studio .NET
Various SDK kits

The only thing I cant get is OfficeXP :disgust:

Used to be $5 per CD, but the agreement with MS expired last year. Now it's about $75 for Office 2003 Professional. I think it's still a good deal.

$6 a CD, and ms marks it up as a 'donation' of however many dollars it 'would have gone for'.

The same as everyone else...no one I know of in Colorado (unless you're a CS major) gets any sort of deal.

Cornell sucks, and while it's cheaper, I still have no qualms about getting it via other means. VT was great; software was nice and cheap (free from my engineering friends).

Though I got XP Pro for $30 from a friend who works at MS.
