In my first couple weeks here of my freshmen year. Kind of sensory overload, so many people, so much work, everything so different. I'm really enjoying it, making friends, good times, keeping up with work, etc.
I'm a Piano Performance major at Indiana University (which is actually ranked #2 in the nation for piano studies, better than Juilliard even). I'm damn proud to be here, as I've worked my ass off to get here. Someone told me (I can't verify this) that 89% of pianists auditioning to be in the school are rejected. Being surrounded by all this talent (in the faculty and other students) is just awesome. And stressful, lol. Practicing 6-8 hours a day plus classes plus homework...well it all sounded good on paper.
Anyway, I hadn't posted in ages, so I thought I'd say hey. Hope all's well with y'all. Guess there's no real point to this post.
Cheers!
