we saw this movie today...

it was decent...

SPOILER.......

the part that I didn't figure out is at towards the end where Vincent has to choose which subway they got on, I thought Max got on the subway on the lower level, but Vincent chooses the upper one which is the one they were on...

Was that just me not seeing that right???

It was a good solid flick, nothing amazing, but good.

I thought it looked like an excellent movie before I saw it, unfortunatly it was a little lackluster compared to my expectations, but it was still good 🙂

I'd give it a 7.5/8 out of 10

my opinion exactly

wow, I must be one of the only ones who thought the movie sucked.

I almost walked out

Just saw the movie on dvd and I agree with you, it sucked horribly. Everything up to the climax was ok, but afterwards, the movie went on a crashing dive. I didn't think that part was believeable, that Tom Cruise can shoot the asian guy without being noticed by the FBI or LAPD.

It's a suspense movie that isn't suspenseful, and it's somehow engrossing and great. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx work great together. I highly recommend it.

Tom Cruise played his part well, especially in the assassination scenes... it just hit real hard. It got cheezed out when they went after the last chick though... felt like the movie took on another personality.

It was one of the few movies that was exactly what I thought it was going to be after I saw the trailer. I guess that's not a bad thing, but I was hoping to be surprised by something near the end. I wasn't.

Funny how Jamie Foxx was nomiated for Best Supporting Actor for his role. Sure, he probably deserved a nomination, but he also got the most screen time in the movie! 🙂

The story was pretty good, the cinematography was outstanding. Watch the special features DVD sometime, has some cool stuff in it.

Decent movie. Both actors played their parts well, but it seemed really slow and boring to me at times.

Huh? I have Heat on DVD sitting at home. Paid $10 for it. Perhaps they're doing an updated release of the movie?
