Colin Powell's personal email hacked: Trump "a national disgrace"

It seems that while Colin Powell hasn't said much publicly about Trump, he sure has been tearing him up in his personal emails.

In an Aug. 21 email from Powell to Miller, he blasted Trump for embarking on a “racist” movement that believes President Obama was not born in the US.

“Yup, the whole birther movement was racist,” Powell wrote. “That’s what the 99% believe. When Trump couldn’t keep that up he said he also wanted to see if the certificate noted that he was a Muslim.”

Actually I do hope Russia keeps them coming. My conservative neighbor has taken notice that Russia seems interested in taking down Hillary and Democrats, which makes his suspicious as to why it seems they are trying to help his party. He's not comfortable with that, just as he's already uncomfortable with Trump. He's an old-school retired marine and he remembers the old Russia. So yes, I hope they keep it up.

What you quoted is his opinion on Hillary, just like I quoted his opinion on Trump. Big deal...lol!
 
I'm not trying to invalidate Powell's opinion on Trump, I hope there are plenty more where that came from. The newest leak might spawn its own thread beyond the Powell stuff tbh.
 
Sarah Palin, "climate gate," the DNC, Colin Powell. Enough already. This e-mail hacking is pathetic. It needs to stop. I don't care who it helps and who it hurts. People's private communications are not meant for public consumption.

With his foul mouth, he would go far in the national politics! People are clamoring for so called "straight talk" celebrities and who better than Powell?
 
Powell is a Republican, remember. Loyal one. So loyal that he went to the UN and lied for Bush. So for him to come out against the Republican nominee is a huge deal.

"National Disgrace" is one of the nicest things I've ever heard said about trump.

Normally
Trump's called things like:
"Casino Mussolini",
"Fukcface von clownstick",
"screaming carrot demon",
"orange supremacist",
"America’s burst appendix."
 
The exchange between Powell and Rice about the Benghazi hearings was interesting. Calling it a witch hunt etc...

Benghazi is a stupid witch hunt. Basic fault falls on a courageous ambassador who thoughts Libyans now love me and I am ok in this very vulnerable place,
