I never understood the 3L bottles, well, for small families anyway.

I've given up on soda mostly, but, I buy root beer in cans so it's not flat when I do want it.

Oh, and does anyone else find that coke tastes much better out of the glass bottles than out of plastic/aluminum?

YES, Silverpig, I have noticed that. Unfortunately the glass bottles are hard to come by around here, and they're usually only 8 oz. :(

havnt seen any 1.5L bottles here

oddly enough though, its like $1.29 at a 7-11 or similar store for a 24oz bottle out of fridge, or one block down you can go to the walgreens and get 2L bottles for $.79-.99 cents and put it in your own fridge

what we pay for convinence

I believe 6 packs here are sold in 1.5 liters, while bottles straight out of a machine are 2 liters.

But yeah, they're 8 oz, and I get them at costco in 24 packs.

3L bottles would be more realistic... the entire US likes to supersize.... i cant see downsizing in something that can be consumed
