Create A boot disk on another computer. Write-protect it. Copy format.com onto this disk. boot from that disk in the infected computer. Format the hard drive. Run FDISK /MBR. shut the computer down. Remove the Ram chips from the computer. reinstall them. reboot the computer, booting from disk or CD. Reinstall OS. Should do the trick.

I've seen this before.

Get into your BIOS settings and change the "Coffee Cup" setting to "Disable".

This should fix it for you. ;)

Actually, I have seen the "tea-time" break feature on some monitors.

Keep us informed.

Guys, we (yes we, because without your help, I never would have fix it).
Somebody mentioned about taking a break, well yes, that was the message, is a funtion that the monitor has, that when is activated it goes across the screen to let you know that is time to take a break.
THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR ALL THE INPUTS AND IDEAS, I HA VE LEARN SOMETHING NEW TODAY, AND THAT IS THANKS TO YOU GUYS.

And so, the "Coffee Cup" mistery comes to an end - sniff :( It was such an interesting thread - I'll miss it!

Eltano, I'm glad you finally figured it out with the help from all the guys here. Never mind my earlier suggestions, it was all in good fun! :D:D

Jalapeno, no hard feelings, sometimes we need to have a joke in order to relief the stress. And, by the way, that probably would have been my next step if I couldn't find a solution.HEHE ;)

No only the problem was something special, what made this thread more interenting it was all the people willing to help me, with all the knowledge that you guys have collected thru the years (I'm pretty new in this, I have only 5 years, and in my certification class didn't cover that function in a monitor, HEHEHE).
I really appreciate that, and I need to say THANKS AGAIN to all of you, and lets keep the forum in this way.
HAve a nice weekend.;)
