For those who have gotten frustrated with 12:

***SPOILER FOR 12***

110 111 111 110
These are the decimal representations of ASCII code. You can either look up a table to find out what it says, or, more simply, use your keyboard.
Hold the ALT key, while pressing one of the groups, such as 110, then let go of the ALT key. Poof, there's part of your answer. Wash, rinse, repeat with the last three groups.

***END SPOILER***

KLifer - What's going on with 14? I've got the answer (I think) but I can't find the page. Is it a negative?

NVM, got it. I was using the wrong code. :D Thanks!

is it just me or is the binary malformed? shouldn't it be divisible by 8?

The number of bits, that is...

It's just not showing the leading 0's.

It's not binary. Notice the emphasized words.

I obviously noticed that... This encoding scheme uses 8 bits per character...
edit: even without the leading zeros it doesn't make any sense.

You talking about number 12? It's not binary.

You're thinking about it too hard. Solve it in ASCII.

Did you figure out the answer??!

With some help. I'd have never gotten it otherwise.

Anyway, the letters have to do with a music scale...a a-sharp b...etc.
The numbers refer to the the letter x notes up the scale. I guess that's the best way to explain it.

Yeah, I'm semi familiar with it, but I'm not sure if he wants the chord, or if the individual notes make up the word. This is a toughy.

ditto

there isn't any anagrams for che, chil, or be

Sometimes things aren't always as they appear. Search between the words to find what you seek.
