Not so sure about that. While I have no confirmation, I have on one or two occasions seen someone who is just a bit too accurate. It's not just sniping, it's someone consistently hitting myself and others with rockets/grenades in midair or right after swinging around 180 degrees. Maybe he/she's really really good, but it is "suspicious behabiour". Oh well, 1 or 2 out of about 50 hours of play is still good.

My Uncle is saying TF2 is the shits. I guess I will have to try it out because CoD4 to me anyway is lame. I know its hot right now but I just cant get into the SP or MP.

For once I'm glad I went with console on this one too, wasn't planning on it but everyone I wanted to play online with was getting the 360 version.

Was the same with CoD2. I expected it for CoD4. Oh well.

i expect it with EVERY multiplayer game.

I not only expect it, but BLAME it every time I die in a multiplayer game... unless of course lag is to blame.

I don't think I could agree with this anymore, hahahaha, really there is no way I should ever die, hahaha

Your meter might be broken

LOL, that's pretty funny!

People can hack the xbox version too, although its far lamer, and the people are far more retarded. I went on one server, and it was so obvious some people were hacking, but w/e.

That's why I went the xbox route this time around.

So you can get host advantage in every game? Or router cheats. There's never a fair game on the xbox.

He answered it for me, n00b.

This is the first multiplayer game I played heavily, so I guess I'm naive or haven't learned the patience for it as many others.

COH is one I tried. Though if you're up against one good player on a 3 vs. 3, you're all ready screwed. So It wasn't anything to enjoy.

I've only been on one server (and that was a few weeks back) where it was incredibly obvious that a couple people were hacking. Honestly, they used their aimbot on a server with killcam. You watched their screen jerk around as it marked targets.

Yeah, that's what i'm talking about.

The other stuff is hard to find. Like the knife hack. Though I've witnessed a few players who could shoot in one direction and then knife someone in back of them in a blink of an eye. A human would continue to try or chase the kill in front of them and wouldn't even pay attention to the guy sneaking up in back of him. Seems like a proximity trigger with the knife.

Children, children!

There are a few notes I would like to add here. The Xbox version of COD4 has indeed been hacked. Unfortunately for most Xbox games a hack is not necessary as certain router configurations guarantee the host a good margin of advantage (except perhaps for in UNO where it only gives a slight advantage.)

Punkbuster is TERRIBLE! They were going to go with a different anticheat client for COD2 but a key member of the group responsible for hiring a new developer had a falling out with other members and then they went back to... punkbuster! Yay!

VAC is terrible period. If you think otherwise then you are only fooling yourself. Always record your matches in ANY online game that you are attempting to be competitive in.

Valve's code is trash though, there has been and still is a method in which you could force a server to download and run anything you want, but I suppose that is a different issue than anti cheat.

The last thing that needs to be said here is that just because someone spins 180 degrees and owns you all day long or face shots you 5 times in a row does NOT mean they are cheating necessarily. Stop crying.
