The last one. I think it's an increasing trend that once somebody gets a job - even a fairly crappy one - they go and buy the most expensive car they can. I've heard of people making $20k/year with a $30k car, for instance.

I don't think so, when I was 16 (2 years ago) my buddies and I had, between us:
1991 Sable (me)
1996 Saturn Wagon
1992 Civic (no mods whatsoever, thank god)
1990's Pontiac Transport (totalled in an ice storm, now he drives a Saturn Wagon)

yeah, but some rich kids always had nice cars, in your day and mine.

I'm pretty much the staunchest opponent of the ATOT speeding nazis... and even I have to agree... what they just did was dangerous as hell and they need their sh!t kicked in for it.
