When gaming i find my coccyx (butt bone) hurts when sat in the same position for a bit, not even a long time, just a bit, i find myself having to turn to the side and lean on a cushion so im not sat on my butt bone. This is really easy to do whilst playing console games but as i am making the switch to PC i cannot take the keyboard and mouse off of my desk thingy when my coccyx starts to hurt.

Can anyone suggest any ideas as to how i can get rid of the pain, or slow it down from appearing so quickly?

Thanks.

If you can't get a better chair, just throw a pillow on it before you sit.

Stop sitting for so long. Go out on a run.

Sure just as soon as you go back to 1st grade. You obviously didn't learn how to read.

Same thing happens with me OP, just need a better chair (and a pillow does help).

yo pogo, i have a remarkable setup in my main squeeze room with my workstation.

32" + LCD screen.

Mattress on floor.

Small coffee stand for keyboard and mouse.

w/ enough room for legs to fit under

so you may rest your back on your mattress with a few pillows

and your butt on the floor.

make sure the font is set at highest size %

now you have back support and relieve some of that lower back

tension.

OP needs to get fat like the rest of Americans. You'll have huge attached cushioning you can bring anywhere.

This is a symptom of a debilitating disease which tends to mostly affect females. The disease is called "noass".

Now go do some squats and deadlifts.

EDIT: Damn it, someone beat me to it.
