Excercise. Seriously. I few years ago I broke my coccyx while attempting to learn how to snowboard. It bothered me for a long time until I started working out. I'm guessing building up some muscle around the area has helped as I can sit for hours with no issue now, whereas before 20-30 minutes in one spot would be painful.

you actually don't want a cushion. What happens is that you sink down into the cushion, allowing it put pressure on coccyx

instead you want a very firm seat with minimal give so the pressure is just on your hip bones

also change how sit so you're either sitting straight up or leaning slightly forward. Basically you can't use the back of your chair anymore.

Sorry for the late reply's guys, my internet went down.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

I currently do not use a chair, so i cannot use them suggestions, i sit on my mattress inside a bed frame with a sliding desk thingy that my legs fit under. I have cushions to either side of me and a cushion behind me.

To the people saying that i need to get out, go for a run etc, I do these things regularly and i was saying that i only need to sit for a bit, maybe 5-10 minutes for it to occur, then i turn to my side.

I think my setup is similar to yours in a way. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the suggestion, ill check them out. :)

Thanks again.

yo pogo, i have a remarkable setup in my main squeeze room with my workstation.

32" + LCD screen.

Mattress on floor.

Small coffee stand for keyboard and mouse.

w/ enough room for legs to fit under

so you may rest your back on your mattress with a few pillows

and your butt on the floor.

make sure the font is set at highest size %

now you have back support and relieve some of that lower back

tension.

When i was younger i fell and landed onmy rear. messed up my tail bone.

now if i sit to long it really starts to hurt. so i got a "doughnut" pillow it helps a lot.
Thanks for the suggestion, ill check them out. :)

Thanks again.

Perfect solution :D

Ill save up for a Coccyx cushion. similar to the Doughnut cusion, it doesn't put pressure on the Coccyx.

Thanks all for the help.
